Gabriel has been working on a new interface for WP and this month we started to upload a more simple, user-friendly, and more appealing design for WP website. First, we replaced some buttons and unclogged some of the pages. Now, we are getting into deeper changes, starting with the audio section of the site.

Meanwhile, corrections to text and audio keep coming every month and January was no exception. Improvements were made to Portuguese, Spanish and Chinese. These are mostly details such as missing letters or words, punctuation and some technical errors here and there. There is always room for improvement.

Our audio output increased this month to 31 terabytes, which should mean an increasing interest worldwide in hearing the Word. We see a few good reasons for such, as the world’s health deteriorates, and nothing seem to help. More and more, God’s answers are becoming mainstream.

The comments from users are mostly encouraging and there are other people out there who wish to take active part in the great mission and wish to create their own local websites or apps. We receive several requests for permission to user the text or audio or both, which is general is not even necessary because that is already expressed in our online disclaimers and notices.

"Grace for to whom it may concern: I am interested in using your recording of the reading of RV1960 Bible on an internet radio program I am setting up. I would plan to just add the MP3 to some introduction music and a Bible lesson which we will produce. Do I need any copyright permission to use these MP3 recordings? Thanks in advance." U.

"I would like to seek your permission to use Tamil Audio Bible ( only verse ) for my page like Fb, insta and YouTube. Daily Bible verse with audio ( not whole chapter) randomly use for single verse. Kindly let me know! Thanks. "J

"I would like to ask if you guys could make a Traditional Chinese version with the pinyin beside it. I am trying to learn Chinese and so I find it very useful to have the Traditional Chinese and the pinyin together. Also, it would be useful if the translation goes in accordance with the English Standard Version so I can use it as reference. Thank you for your help. Keep doing what you are doing and may God bless you greatly." G

"Hello there. My name is Maudlyn and I am a believer. I am so delighted to get on your page and learn about what you do as an organization. I once had a device like this and I enjoyed using it greatly, it would be great to have certain members of the community have access to it too. How do I partner in the distribution of this audio Bible in my community, Nigeria in Africa. I look forward to your response. Thank you." MA

"I attend the local Lutheran Mission where I reside and have recently renewed my affinity with the books of the bible. The reason I am contacting and reaching out to you is to express my appreciation of your published work.
Thank you very much for making it available on my Android smartphone." SR

"My name is Zohaib Asfand. I am from Sahiwal Pakistan. I belong to a Christian family. I am constant visitor of your website. I have done Masters and still jobless because of minority. I want to translate these lectures and bible books in Urdu and Punjabi language, this will be a good step for Christians in Pakistan, they will get more knowledge about Christianity and easily understand the word of God in their own languages. By this i will get a job as well.
Muslim people hate Christians and don’t give us opportunity to earn for living also not give us jobs due to this Christians are below poverty line. Most of Christians converted into Islam because of poverty and lack of bible knowledge. By this we can survive our Christian community. At this time just 2% Christians left in Pakistan due to lack of knowledge about Christianity. This will be a great step for poor Christian people in Pakistan." ZA

"Hope you had a great Christmas and New year! I am very lucky to find the various bible translations at wordproject.com. It is a fantastic site, and helps people read and understand the bible a lot better. I need your help. My son Raphael Samuel, who is a college student at the University of Texas is making a phone app for bible study and it needs text files or similar files of bible in various languages. I am happy to see you worked on this, and have a full collection. We greatly appreciate your help if you could send me text files of the whole bible in different languages that you have available. As soon as we have the phone app ready, we will send you a copy to review and make it better. Thank you very much for your help. " MS

"I am on your website and I like the audio version and see that the files can be downloaded in chapters. My question is; can I download it and use it as a reference on my site? This way, it would take up too much bandwidth on your end. I would appreciate it." SM

From Africa we received news that the new order of audio bibles arrived in Nairobi and soon after that, we received some touching images of their distribution from Mary. We are thankful for this opportunity to offer free audio Bibles, and in the case of the blind community, who show real appreciation for these gifts.
