Just sharing with you a few of the many photographs (and videos) we received from our contacts in Africa, one of which is sister Mary, who has been faithful to distribute the Audio Bibles donated by our team in the several centers and schools for the blind in Kenya. It is encouraging to see how happy the people are for this precious, priceless gift, given to all of us by God, wherefore we are also happy to share with them.

Bless sister Mary for sharing these photos with us.

More recipients here. Thank the Lord for abundant supply of audio Bibles.

Remember to pray for these precious people, whose contact with information, in this age of super information, is only through audio. We pray that their hearts are warmed, their vision strengthened and their souls saved through the Words of our Father and His dear Son. I hope you also consider it a privilege to be part of WP team, no matter in what capacity or form – your prayers, your support or as a co-worker.

Other than that, this month we had the honor to edit and upload more than 100,000 pages – yes, the size of our website is up there – with the new updated interface, which is a beauty and also very functional – you should use it often and also share with your friends and acquaintances – just a suggestion, of course.

Not least, here are some comments to our apps, which are most encouraging, as usual – except for a few discontent users that always want more…

I love this app because I have trouble reading small print. Now I can just listen to God's Word. I love that I can pause when I need to and start again where I left off. KT

And also, no small amount of emails were received at our email box – some with interesting and unexpected questions that we, honestly, do not really know what to answer:

Dear fellow brothers and sisters in Christ. As I am launching a project of evangelisation, the use of your bible audio files in my youtube videos would be highly appreciated. The project consists of producing biblical paintings in order to reach out to the art world with the Christian message. Thus, the process of painting will be recorded on video with the aim to link the corresponding audio files to the subject matter. As the finished paintings will be sold on a separate webpage in order to fund for the kingdom of God, I kindly ask for your agreement to use your audio files for the videos. There is going to be a strict separation between selling the artwork and preaching the gospel through creating fine art. If you need further information about my purpose do not hesitate to contact me. Many thanks in advance for your treatment. Best regards S.S.

I love this platform and use it daily. I just want to alert you to a broken link. I opened Deuteronomy. From that page, I chose Audio and got a 404 message, "page not found". When I went back to Google and chose the audio link from there it worked. Blessings SP

Hello! Good Day! I'm Warner, a 16 years old author. I am very grateful I discovered this website! The Tagalog translation are really easy to understand, and it suits a teenager like myself. I also noticed that the translation is a public domain? I'm now writing my first biblical novel. It's historical fiction in genre, a story of a girl in the time of the Lord Jesus. I can't find a free bible online where I can use for my story. Do you mind if I use this website as my source? Your responds is highly appreciated. Thank you! WPJ

Hello, thank you for great work! Please add speed controller to audio bible listening site. It would be very beneficial for many people to be able to slow down audio bible, let's say, to 0.75x speed. Kind regards,CF

Dear WordProject, Thank you for the audio bible collections in different languages. I am Kiswahili speaker. I am also a Masters student developing my thesis project on a Kiswahili Text-to-Speech system. Kiswahili language is a low-resource language since there is a limited available dataset. Building a Text-to-Speech system requires a lot of data for training and evaluation. I am therefore requesting you grant me to use the Kiswahili audio bible dataset to build the system. The dataset will require both audio and text. I will download the audio file chapterwise and assign it to the Bible section's corresponding text. Therefore, I will require about 5 Bible books. I will be much thankful if you will allow me. Thank you in advance for your kind consideration. KKR

Great Bible. Trying to learn the Russian language with it so I read it first in English and then read it in Russian. Yesterday was the first time I found it and it was in two columns and audio was available. Today it was presented English on top and Russian on bottom but NO audio available. I prefer this presentation but is it possible to have the audio of the Russian language? Thank you for creating this resource. SM

As you may see, many people are engaged in doing their part in the promotion of the Word. We should not forget that we are at war — not the one you may be thinking about – which is concerning and needs our prayers too – but the kind that talks about in Ephesians 6:12 – “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places”.
