Now there are cool mornings of 14° and fresh winds. In the beginning of August the heat was intense. We were on a mission to save the young trees and plants during this hot and dry weather. Meanwhile, we took a trip up to the Porto area and we stopped at the coastal city of Aveiro where the temperatures were 12-15 degrees lower. It was a very nice getaway. We were able to catch up with some friends there and spend some time filming and exercising. Back to Lisbon afterwards, where grandma had time with little Afonso. He is now 3 months old. He communicates with everyone who has time for a conversation, through smiles and gurgles, charming all with his intense blue eyes!

Afonso : Cute with character

He also had his baptism, and his public debut was impeccable, not one cry all afternoon! We continue to pray for God’s blessing upon all our children and grandchildren!

A picture to remember

Birthdays this month:

Isabel arrived at the ripe age of 9, a milestone she has been looking forward to for many a year!
