Here is a short report from one of our first projects in Africa:
We hold many memories of Africa during our time there. Besides our mission of recording the Bible in Kiswahili and other native languages, we had other experiences: We fellowship with many persons of different nationalities, we traveled and visit new places and, all in all, we learn many new things. These are videos of assorted nature that we share with you. Enjoy.
Rovuma River crossing
The southern border of Tanzania is the Rovuma River, that divides with the country of Mozambique.
There is a bridge up the river but the shortest way is to remain on the coast and take a ferry across. This ferry works only when the tide is high due to the proximity with the sea at the mouth of the river. It was a fun event and we recorded in the short clip. Enjoy.
Here is a short clip taken on our return from Mozambique. We went to Mozambique with the purpose of bringing Audio Bibles to some of our contacts there. We traveled many kilometers by road and on the return we passed through Mombasa directly to Nairobi.
