The year of the Rooster has arrived in China! Yeah! More Holidays for the local population! It was uncannily quiet as a government crackdown on firecrackers has been quite thorough. Hardly a peep in the village! 🙁 Our celebration included a scrumptious meal of homemade dumplings courtesy of Mandy’s father and mother. They are experts at the craft and they were very, very  patient with our attempts to “bao jiao ze”. Boy, were they delicious!
