The month of December has been especially blessed as we celebrate the Advent, the fact that God the Son entered into humanity so that we could enter into eternity! “In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.”
What an amazing truth!! Reading on is the admonition that as God so loved us, we should love one another! 1John 4:9,11
This Christmastide gave us just such opportunity! A time to give and share! A time to sing and a time to worship! A time to connect and a time to be alone with our God! All because of the birth of Jesus Christ in Bethlehem! Especially precious was sharing the story of the Nativity with the children and watching them get so excited with baby Jesus’ birthday!
Ever thankful for the new technology available, we connected with family far and wide to celebrate Gabriel’s birthday on the 23rd. Gabriel was and continues to be a blessing of the Christmas season as well as the whole year through!
We began the New Year by committing our hearts and future to the Lord in prayer. By symbolically lighting our light to Jesus, the Light of the world, our desire is for His Word to be a lamp unto our feet and a light unto our path!
Graced with some beautiful sunny days amongst the cold we went to a few places we had never visited before. Considering how small our territory is, that is truly amazing, and for such we are truly grateful 😉
