Home front – April 2021

The good news is that Donna’s knee is performing much better now and she is back into walking and exercising more each day. Thank you for your prayers for this situation. She has been blessed with the fact that we live nearby a beach and we can go there almost every afternoon, and take some fresh air and sunshine. With the start of the ‘bathing season’ swimming pools are now open and hopefully she will be able to enjoy some water therapy.

For a bit we might imagine we are in a tropical beach –
this is only our local Cheoc Van Beach.

And from Donna we receive this report:

On the home school front, Jason has been working hard to finish up all his requirements for his high school final year. He is studying for his College Board tests and will finish off most assignments by the end of May.

Busy studying for SAT, coming up soon.

In April, Benjamim provided Wordproject with banners based on key Bible verses in Russian. These will be put out on social media. Ben also celebrated his 25th birthday on the 25th of the month, and he performed some of his beautiful songs at an artist’s gathering downtown the same evening. We were happy to spend some fun family time together with him as he is a very busy man indeed!

Sweet Aurora turned 3 on April 9th. She is such a precious soul and understands so much of the Lord’s Word already! She can explain very clearly that if anyone is afraid, they can pray to Jesus and He will help anyone to not be afraid of the dark. So precious is the faith of a child! Oh that our faith was so strong and so simple. A little child shall lead …
