May has been a month of preparation and testing. Jason is justifying his abilities to academia by taking the Official SAT tests: English, Math, Chemistry and Physics. This has taken hours of preparation and the final exams will be in the beginning of June. Gloria has begun her preparation for year 3 final med exams, which takes immense study and Emanuel is preparing his heart for the results of the Bar exam he sat for recently! Joana is studying for the TESOL certificate to enhance her teaching skills. Cristiana is investing time to improve her Spanish language abilities and Mom is making advances in Portuguese. Isabel and Aurora are training ballet while Isabel learns piano. With all this added knowledge we pray for the wisdom accomplish all our goals and pass all our tests!
So far, we are still safe from Covid in our town, but with the gigantic increase in tourists we never stop praying. Gabriel has been shut down in Singapore again as the covid cases have dramatically increased recently. He has been working hard and uploaded his app OKKI. We are only in May and the temperature has risen over 30°C quite a few times already! Amazingly, Emanuel and Jason are able to pull up the stamina to assist and even play 90 minutes of intense soccer in the heat and humidity! It takes a lot of hydration and training! Jorge also has joined the veterans team!!

Our Mother’s Day celebration was happy Indeed! With all the local family members joined together we enjoyed a great meal and a good laugh! Oh the joys of a loving family! God bless them all!
