Donna:

November brought us many reasons to give thanks, the preeminent being, the Promise of God!  Jesus our promised Redeemer and Saviour who has died to pay the debt for our sins. We are daily in awe of the great love that God has shown us by giving us His only begotten Son.  “For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us“. 2 Cor 1:20. This basic truth, by the which we stand washed in the blood of Christ, is being challenged constantly in the media, in the classrooms, and in spheres of political influence. We must search the Scriptures daily in order to give an answer to every man who asks us a reason for the hope that is within us.

We celebrated Thanksgiving with Cristiana and Nuno: a sumptuous meal was served, prepared with much love and care. Thank you. Most of all, it was a blessing to have us together for the afternoon, as we also took a stroll around the center of Lisbon and saw some of the Christmas lights, along with the lack of Christ and the excess of Santa Clauss.

Also, during this month, we took a trip to the Algarve. A first for the three of us. We met there with some friends from Macau, with whom we shared some interesting thoughts and ideas. We also watched some amazing sights: great skies and even a castle. We spent the night in the camper van and that made it even more special (and affordable).

Not least, not far from where we live, we have this amazing place called Cabo Espichel. A cape where to escape on a boring Sunday afternoon, and pray. This we did with Gabriel and the result, among other things we came out with these amazing photos:

The pictures of Cristiana and Nuno’s Wedding finally came out and we have enjoyed to see them and remember the beautiful time we all enjoyed last July. Below is a good family picture, missing Emanuel and Mandy, with Isabel and Aurora, and Benjamim, who could not come.
